Job summary

Hawkins Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Chemical Operator to operate, handle, and maintain production equipment safely while meeting production and quality standards.

You will monitor processes, record data, perform routine maintenance, and adhere to SOPs, safety rules, and environmental regulations. The position requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of operator experience, with forklift operation skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a chemical operator.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate, handle, and maintain production equipment safely while meeting production and quality standards.
• Control continuous and batch processes per SOPs, including manual and automated operations.
• Accurately complete required paperwork and record operating data.
• Provide routine maintenance to process equipment and instrumentation.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
