Job summary

Veolia is seeking a process operator to monitor and control chemical processes in our U.S. facility. You will load materials, adjust settings, record data, and assist with safety, quality, and housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate or tend equipment to control chemical changes or reactions
• Monitor recording instruments, flow meters, and indicators to verify process conditions
• Record operating data and confer with technical staff to resolve safety/quality issues
• Regulate or shut down equipment during emergencies as directed
• Start pumps to wash and rinse reactors and manage material flow
• Notify maintenance staff to correct malfunctions and adjust utilities as needed
