Job summary

RBC Bearings is seeking a Chemical Engineer to contribute to the development of new engineered products at our Oxford, CT facility. The role focuses on applying chemical process development expertise to support RBC Divisions and improve manufacturing troubleshooting.

The candidate will perform analytical analyses on current and new products, leveraging knowledge of thermosetting resins, composites, and analytical techniques such as FTIR and DSC to optimize processing and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in chemical engineering required.
• Knowledge of thermosetting resins, thermoplastics and elastomers a plus.
• Knowledge of composite systems, and manufacturing techniques a plus.
• Analytical chemistry knowledge, especially with FTIR and DSC.

Responsibilities

• Development of new-engineered products for RBC Bearings.
• Provide chemical process development expertise and assistance to RBC Divisions.
• Assist RBC Divisions with manufacturing troubleshooting.
• Perform analytical analyses of current and newly developed products and processing.
