Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to design and optimize advanced manufacturing facilities in a hybrid role based in Ohio. You will lead conceptual and detailed design work, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role emphasizes field support, mentorship of junior engineers, and participation in proposals and project planning. A PE license and EIT/FE are preferred, with visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 4-5 years of chemical process engineering experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT/FE).
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual and detailed design for advanced manufacturing facilities.
• Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects.
• Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals and responding to questions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on basic engineering applications and principles.
• Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work.
