Synthomer plc is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer in Mogadore, OH to provide technical guidance for daily plant production and act as a technical expert on the production team. You will partner with operators and salary staff to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

The role requires a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering with 3–5 years in chemical process manufacturing, strong problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvements and capital projects.

Formación

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in chemical process manufacturing.
• Advanced problem solving and facilitation skills.
• Experience driving production related improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provides technical guidance of daily plant production processes.
• Serves as a technical expert on the production team.
• Engages with operators and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Identifies safety, quality, and process improvement opportunities and implements actions.
• Drives continuous improvement and change to deliver results.
• Supports plant safety activities and training.
• Provides troubleshooting for production issues with the team.
• Participates in the MOC program with procedures, hazard evaluation and training.
• Develops and maintains production procedures and docs for safe manufacturing.
• Owns production-related improvement and capital projects.
• Supports Responsible Care and ISO activities.
• Acts as contact for product scale ups as needed.
