Job summary

PSC Group is hiring a Warehouse / Loading Technician in Freeport, TX. This full-time role focuses on safe loading of railcars and supporting rail movements within an industrial facility. You will assist with forklift operations, equipment inspections, and paperwork to ensure accurate product transfer.

Ideal candidates are safety-minded, able to pass drug screens and background checks, and fluent in English. On-site team environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and possibly TWIC card depending on location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Inspect railcars prior to product transfer.
• Connect and disconnect loading arms or hoses.
• Check for leaks, weigh railcars, and complete paperwork.
• Operate forklift and warehouse equipment to load product onto trailers.
• Inspect trailers for securement and damage; complete paperwork and labeling.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.

Warehouse / Loading Technician

As a Loader – Rail Switching Technician, you'll play a key role in daily operations by safely loading railcars and supporting rail movements within an industrial facility. This is a full-time role with stability, strong team support, and clear advancement potential.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Loader

• Cleans and inspects railcars prior to product transfer
• Connects and disconnects loading arms or hoses
• Checks for leaks, weighs railcars, and completes paperwork

Warehouse

• Operates a forklift and other warehouse machinery to safely load product onto trailers
• Inspects trailers to ensure product securement and no trailer damages
• Reviews and / or completes paperwork and labels for accuracy

Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job

Job Qualifications

• May require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
