Job summary

VantageSpecialtyChemicals in Chicago, IL is seeking a Production Technician/ Warehouse Operator for the Chicago Oleo Plant. You will perform material movements, load/unload, and operate pumps while adhering to cGMP and ISO procedures to ensure quality and safety throughout production.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least six months in an industrial setting; forklift experience is preferred. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six months experience in an industrial facility.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical processes safely per current procedures and equipment.
• Maintain safe operational environment and enforce safety policies and regulations.
• Complete required paperwork, forms and logs for production records.
• Sample and label raw materials and products per established procedures.
• Maintain inventory control in tanks and associated equipment.
• Operate forklifts and Trackmobile to move materials and railcars as needed.
• Communicate status and progress to supervision and relief personnel.
• Assist with maintenance preparations and follow LOTO and safe work procedures.
