All About You

The Chemical Production Supervisor - 3rd shift is responsible for increasing productivity with innovative methods while motivating staff to perform better. You must be goal-oriented and methodical. A good chemical production supervisor supports and promotes new innovations in production and ensures that health and safety laws are followed. The chemical production supervisor oversees the chemical manufacturing process and ensures that production is successful by managing all aspects of it.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years in a chemical manufacturing environment or chemical lab work experience including leadership training and military leadership experience.
  • Can lead autonomous teams in lean manufacturing principles and analytical problem-solving methods.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, supervise and provide coaching to direct reports including coaching company core values.
  • Pays specific attention to equipment operating practices and conditions to minimize equipment downtime, lower maintenance costs, reduce time to run projects, and repeat work.
  • Evaluate production efficiency.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Supervise and guide production team members, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
