Frontier Cooperative in Nehawka, NE is hiring an Operations Specialist - Chemical Plant to operate and monitor chemical mixing processes in a full-time role with benefits. The position involves receiving and labeling chemicals, blending liquids, data entry, and ensuring safety in accordance with OSHA and EPA rules.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving, math skills, and experience with agricultural operations.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge, skills, and abilities in customer service, general agriculture laborer work, safety management, chemical knowledge, mechanical maintenance, and repairs, and analyzing information.

Responsibilities

• Operate a manual chemical mix plant and/or computer base chemical mix plant.
• Receive products, unload delivery trucks and ensure proper labeling and storage of chemicals.
• Blend liquids from batch loads and monitor transfer of chemicals to applicator machines or tender trucks.
• Enter data into software or operate manual processes for mixing and labeling.
• Follow OSHA and EPA safety rules and regulations and properly handle spills and leaks.
• Submit batch tickets and assist with billing information.
• May assign plant duties and delivery routes as needed.
