Dover Chemical Corporation in Hammond, IN is seeking a responsible Operator to safely and efficiently run area equipment (heat exchangers, absorbers, reactors, pumps) and produce product to customer specifications.

The operator will monitor equipment, log data, operate forklifts, and help maintain clean and safe work areas while following all safety procedures. Training will be provided for process certification and system data entry.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work any shift, including weekends, overtime, and holidays.

Mansioni

• Charge raw materials into reactors and operate area equipment.
• Transfer products to storage vessels and monitor electrical gauges and process indicators.
• Operate valves, pumps, and perform data recording in logbooks and systems.
• Inspect for leaks and equipment malfunctions and shut down if necessary.
• Input data into AS 400/Infinium and Microsoft D365 as needed.
• Assist in safety inspections and housekeeping.
