Qualifications

• High school diploma; two-year technical degree preferred.
• Experience in chemical plant environment required.
• Capable of working with computers and computerized controllers; rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical unit in a Digital Control System (DCS) environment.
• Follow safety, quality (ISO 9002) and process control procedures.
• Set up hand valves and equipment for operations; assist maintenance and readings; monitor process and take samples.
• Respond to nonstandard conditions and emergencies; perform manual loading/unloading as required.
• Participate in safety training and meetings; support training of personnel.
