Job summary

Solstice Advanced Materials in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our integrated supply chain team. This role supports 12-hour rotating shifts, ensures compliance with safety and process controls, and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and eligibility for a TWIC card. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
• Valid driver's license.
• TWIC Card eligible.

Responsibilities

• Participates in continuous improvement events and 5S activities.
• Observes data from controllers and recorders to make process changes and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment.
• Redirects or shuts off feeder lines during emergencies and alerts supervisor of action taken.
• Hazardous waste sampling, hazardous waste packaging/loading duties, container marking and labeling, hazardous waste container handling and management, respond to chemical spills and releases, and conduct and document routine inspections.
• Performs all necessary housekeeping duties in area.
• Potential OJT certification and training of new operators as required.
