What You’ll Do
Load and unload trucks and railcars following OSHA, DOT, EPA and Tessenderlo Kerley standards.
Read local instrumentation and collect/analyze product samples to maintain quality.
Operate manual valves and outdoor equipment safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot process issues and correct equipment irregularities.
Participate in safety programs, attend meetings, conduct safety inspections, and report hazards.
Inspect equipment regularly to prevent failures or damage.
Keep the plant clean and organized.
Support special projects including maintenance, turnarounds and confined space entries.
Take on additional duties as assigned by leadership.
What You’ll Bring
High School Diploma or GED.
Mechanical and/or technical experience strongly preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to read, understand and follow technical procedures.
Basic math, analytical and computer skills.
Working knowledge of chemistry is a plus.
A positive attitude with a commitment to safety and reliability.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
???? Able to climb stairs and ladders as needed.
Must be fit-tested and able to wear both full-face and half-face respirators.
