Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain polishers and regeneration units.
• Manage low TOC area and associated equipment.
• Run multiple units in series and separately as required.
• Operate the Separator and resin separation equipment.
• Perform small unit operations (Cation/Anion) and V-Mixer.
• Charge units and neutralize waste tanks.
• Operate grinding, microlite tanks and centrifuge.
• Instruct and oversee a Second Operator as needed.
• Complete paperwork with accuracy and submit to supervisor.

About the Role

Purolite, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a First Equipment Operator‑Regen to coordinate activities in the regeneration area, including regeneration, microlite, waste tanks, polishers, grinding, TOC systems and processes including screening and drying. The operator will always be safety conscious for self and others with ability to initiate tasks and work in an independent manner.

Responsibilities

• Effectively operate polishers.
• Maintain effective operation of the Low TOC area.
• Operate three units (LC, M‑Regen and CY‑4) in series and separately, as well as the extraction unit and scavenger.
• Operate the Separator, Separation of Mixbed Resins.
• Perform small unit (Cation and Anion) and V‑Mixer operations.
• Charge all units.
• Neutralize waste tanks in Regen.
• Operate the Grinder, Microlite tanks and centrifuge.
• Instruct Second Equipment Operator on duties and ensure completion.
• Write paperwork as necessary and ensure accuracy before submission to supervisor.
• Operate sewing machine and heat sealer.
• Operate the ferrix system, keks and drying.
• Report unusual occurrences relating to processes and equipment to Regen supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous mechanical skills required.
• Ability to communicate with visitors, professional and plant personnel.
• Computer knowledge with basic mathematics and writing skills.
• Licensed forklift operator preferred.
• Prior experience in the chemical industry.
