Job summary

Frontier Cooperative in Nehawka, NE, is seeking an Operations Specialist for our chemical plant. This full-time role involves operating manual and computer-based mixing systems, receiving products, labeling and storing chemicals, and ensuring accurate batch processing.

You will monitor safety and regulatory compliance, perform basic math and data entry, maintain equipment, and assist with route planning for deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to three years of agricultural experience preferred.
• Basic math and data entry skills; ability to read labels and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual or computer-based chemical mix plant.
• Receive products, unload trucks and label/store chemicals.
• Blend liquids and transfer chemicals to applicators or tender trucks.
• Enter data into software and monitor chemical transfers.
• Follow OSHA and EPA safety rules and manage spills.
