Job summary

Webb Chemical is seeking a Plant Manager in Fort Wayne, IN, to lead day-to-day plant operations, including chemical handling, packaging, warehousing, and scheduling. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while ensuring OSHA, EPA, and DOT compliance, and manage budgets and capital projects.

The role emphasizes leadership of salaried and hourly staff, continuous improvement, and collaboration with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience in chemical operations.
• Proven experience managing budgets and capital expenditure projects.
• Experience with regulatory environments (DOT, OSHA, EPA).

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day plant operations including production, chemical handling, packaging, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Develop and maintain safety culture; drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Manage audits, inspections, certifications, reporting, and Emergency Response planning with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets; monitor expenses and savings initiatives.
• Lead capital projects, plant expansions, and site planning; coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
