Job summary

ProSource People in Pasadena, TX is seeking an experienced Chemical Plant Batch Blender to safely blend chemical products, operate plant equipment, and support loading/unloading materials in a fast-growing facility. This role demands attention to detail and adherence to SOPs and safety procedures.

The candidate must have prior batch blending experience, forklift operation, and the ability to work rotating shifts with PPE.

Qualifications

• Previous chemical plant batch blending experience required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs.
• Forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to wear PPE, including respirators and PPE.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Follow SOPs and blend instructions to produce products accurately.
• Operate pumps, blenders, air compressors, scales, and related plant equipment.
• Load and unload blend tanks and containers.
• Load and unload bulk trucks.
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the facility.
• Monitor blending operations and maintain product quality standards.
• Perform material handling and inventory-related tasks.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blending requirements.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with additional plant duties as assigned.
