Job summary

Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a dependable Packaging Operator for our Ohio facility. You will load ingredients, operate filling and cutting machines, and ensure accurate labeling and documentation for cement-based products.

This position requires forklift operation, Hazmat training, good math and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 55 pounds. Safety-conscious teamwork and timely completion of tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of experience in chemicals or manufacturing.
• Forklift certification and Hazmat training.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Load ingredients into mixer.
• Performs and completes inspections as required.
• Operate machines to fill containers with cement.
• Operate guillotine machine to slit rubber.
• Operate various other machines, including mill.
• Set-up and change over machines as required.
• Completes necessary forms and paperwork.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Monitor quality of materials throughout the manufacturing process.
• Use and maintain digital scales.
• Hand label cans and packaging.
• Must be able to handle and move heavy and awkward objects, i.e. 55-gallon drums.
• Drive forklift as necessary.
