Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Little Hocking, OH, is seeking a Warehouse Operator - Plastics to join our 3rd shift operations. You will handle post-extrusion packaging, labeling, stacking, and shipping documentation while safely operating forklifts and related equipment.

The role requires learning packaging equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring product quality. A 12-hour rotating shift and on-site work at Arrowhead Rd are included in this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Complete an OJT through procedural training/testing/skill demo.
• Learn packaging equipment.
• Learn to operate sit-down forklift, scissor lift, cherry picker, or pallet jack.
• Learn upkeep of equipment and reporting of equipment problems.
• Learn to inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts in a swing shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate area bag or box line machinery and all associated equipment under supervision.
• Maintain and complete required paperwork for proper product identification and traceability.
• Create and manage labels, rework boxes, and handle rework boxes.
• Use a forklift to move inventory to proper warehouse locations.
• Label and disposition of partial and non-standard boxes.
• Follow production schedule and duties to meet needs.
• Set up packaging supplies and related prep work.
• Inspect and document product quality and communicate any issues.
