Job summary

BASF is seeking a Chemical Operator to safely manufacture high-quality chemical products across shifts in Wisconsin. The role entails material handling, QA testing, and supporting maintenance and production activities on a 4am–12pm or 11:30am–7:30pm schedule, with potential overtime.

Candidates should have a HS diploma, 1+ year manufacturing experience, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of chemical/manufacturing/production experience.
• Willingness to lift 50 lbs, walk ladders and stairs, and be mobile during shifts.
• Experience with automated process systems (DCS/PLC) and SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily/weekly safety walkthroughs and housekeeping inspections.
• Provide support to production, QC testing, and in-process testing of products.
• Handle receiving/shipment of bulk raw materials and finished products.
• Operate forklifts and assist in material handling in production areas.
• Prepare and package finished products into totes and drums; assist in batch reconciliation.
