Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Chemical Operator to safely operate and monitor a continuously running production line in our manufacturing facility. You will follow standard work, adhere to process limits, and act to protect people, equipment, and product quality.

You will collect samples, document conditions, respond to alarms, and collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Manufacturing teams to maintain safe, compliant operations. This is a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience preferred in chemical plant operations.
• Ability to follow procedures with strict safety and accuracy.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping discipline.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials handling; HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain.
• Willingness to elevate issues early and operate with accountability.
• Interest in sustainability and safe manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a continuously running production line using established procedures.
• Use process data and alarms to make timely decisions.
• Identify abnormal conditions and take corrective actions.
• Document operating conditions and deviations accurately.
• Conduct routine field rounds, sampling, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE.
