Saint-Gobain’s Chryso location in Lithonia, GA is seeking a Chemical Operator to join our team. You will produce finished product to meet customer demands, participate in regulatory testing, and join daily meetings to propose procedural improvements aimed at quality, output, cost and safety.

The role emphasizes EHS, teamwork, and on-time shipments in a chemical manufacturing setting. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience; you must lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, perform mathematical calculations, and follow technical instructions.
• Applicant must have strong reading, math, and technical skills.
• Ability to qualify on various processes and equipment in a dynamic chemical manufacturing environment.
• Applicant must communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Produces finished product to meet customer demands in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
• Participates in regulatory testing.
• Participates in daily team meetings to propose changes to improve quality, output, costs, safety, and reduce waste.
• Performs daily plant housekeeping in production and warehousing areas.
• Assists in monthly inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Prepares shipments according to DOT regulations.
