Arxada is seeking a Chemical Operator at its Mapleton, Illinois facility. The role involves hands-on production of bulk chemicals, operating DCS systems, and strict adherence to safety and environmental rules.
You will perform material handling, sampling, and shift handovers, with emphasis on precision and clean work areas. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years in the chemical industry, plus the ability to work independently and use computers.

The expected salary for this role is 33.10 an hour USD. As a union role, there are salary increases every six months. In two years, the applicant would be at the top pay for this role. Training for this position is on DAY SHIFT for 6 months. Then the role will be assigned to NIGH SHIFT and get an extra $1.25 an hour for shift differential.
