DSM-Firmenich AG is hiring a Chemical Operator in Newark, NJ. The role runs a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, 7 days a week, 365 days per calendar year. You will safely operate process equipment, maintain documentation, and support GMP compliance.

Chemical OperatorLocation: Newark, NJ, USOn-SitePerform the duties required for the continuous production of chemicals according to DSM-Firmenich’s safety, quality, housekeeping, service (punctuality) and cost standards. This position is a 12 hour rotating shift schedule, 7 days week, 365 days per calendar year. Equipment operator experience in a chemical plant environment.Knowledge of GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices).Ability to drive a forklift. Willingness to work overtime to cover vacancies.Ability to work a 24/7 rotating shift.The salary provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Hourly rate: $28.00-$32.00 per hour.In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
