Job summary

Qualifications

This opening is for ONE Mixing Technician, 2nd Shift: 2 - 10pm with a paid 30-minute meal break. Training for the position may take place during 1st shift hours (6am - 2:30pm) for approximately 1-3 weeks.

Responsibilities

Mixing Technician (Chemical Operator):

Role Definition: As a Mixing Technician (Chemical Operator) you will be responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient mixing of batches of chemical materials by adding raw materials into a mixing pot. This role requires a moderate amount of overtime throughout the week and sometimes on Saturdays.

Your key responsibilities will be/what you'll do:

• Adhere to quality and safety systems and standards.
• Handle hazardous raw materials and products with appropriate care and precaution.
• Monitor process conditions and equipment.
• Participate in the creation and the maintenance of a clean work area.

Job Qualifications

• High School education or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience operating a fork truck is a plus.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment or clean room is preferred.
• Willing and able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Willing and able to work in a restricted, electrically classified area for use of flammable and combustible materials.
• Able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
