Job Opportunity: Chemical Operator

We are a national staffing firm currently seeking a Chemical Operator for a prominent client. The position is located in North Chicago, IL. Details of the position are as follows:

1. Up to $26/hr based on experience.
2. This is an onsite position.
3. 12+ month contract with potential extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
4. Sets up equipment for routine processes. Operates complex equipment under supervision and monitors manufacturing processes. Becomes familiar with departmental functionalities. Trains under the guidance of a certified trainer to learn equipment and processes. Communicates operational events and issues appropriately.
5. Trains to understand basic responsibilities and GMP policies. Demonstrates compliance with quality and safety standards.
6. Expands knowledge with trainer support, understanding technical, regulatory, and safety training.
7. Under supervision, makes timely decisions to meet departmental goals.
8. Recommends process improvements.
9. Conducts business professionally, actively listens, shares information, and participates in meetings.
10. Works constructively to resolve conflicts.
11. High School diploma required.
12. Basic technical knowledge is a plus.
13. Follows departmental procedures, safety, and compliance rules.
