What You'll Do:

• Operate industrial equipment safely with proper PPE and procedures.
• Process chemicals following batch instructions.
• Communicate and transfer materials.
• Load/unload containers (tank cars/trucks, drums, totes).
• Prepare equipment for maintenance.
• Read control panels and instruments.
• Participate in emergency response, including completing required training.
• Record process and production data.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills That Make a Difference:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of hazardous materials and safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to plan, work independently, and show initiative.
• Willingness to wear SCBA occasionally.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic mechanical, math, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to identify and act on process improvements.

Considered a Plus:

• Chemistry knowledge and chemical hazards.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience on safety teams or safety training.
• Experience in manufacturing or the chemical industry.
• Experience operating industrial high-pressure washers.

Working Conditions:

• Operate a forklift and move drums up to 500 lbs.
• Lift up to 55 lbs.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, and holidays as needed.
• Maintain a clean-shaven appearance for respirator use.
• Climb stairs as required.
