What You'll Do:
  1. Operate industrial equipment safely, using PPE and safety procedures.
  2. Process chemical products following batch sheet instructions.
  3. Communicate and transfer materials efficiently.
  4. Load and unload containers such as tank cars, drums, and totes.
  5. Prepare equipment for maintenance as required.
  6. Read control panels and field instruments.
  7. Participate in emergency response, completing required safety courses and tests.
  8. Record process information and production data accurately.
  9. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
  10. Maintain general housekeeping.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills That Make a Difference:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Understanding of hazardous materials and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written).
  • Ability to work independently and plan tasks.
  • Willingness to wear SCBA occasionally.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills.
  • Ability to identify and act on process improvements.
Considered a Plus:
  • Knowledge of chemistry and chemical hazards.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Experience in safety teams or industrial safety training.
  • Background in manufacturing or chemical industries.
  • Experience operating high-pressure washers.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to operate a forklift and move drums up to 500 lbs.
  • Lift up to 55 lbs.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, and holidays.
  • Maintain a clean-shaven appearance for respirator use.
  • Climb stairs as needed.
