Qualifications

• Willingness to learn chemical processing equipment and procedures.
• New hires must complete 120 hours of on-the-job training within the first 90 days.
• Must complete PCC Classroom Training for RCRA General Awareness within six months.
• Recurring RCRA General Awareness training annually.

Responsibilities

• Train to safely operate a variety of chemical processing equipment per procedures.
• Operate reaction systems, distillation systems, filters, extractors, autoclaves, reactors, pumps, centrifuges, and more.
• Load and unload materials into process equipment; adjust indicators and controls.
• Monitor reactions and adjust temperature, pressure and vacuum; record gauge readings and shift production.
• Draw samples and perform tests to verify product specifications; maintain accurate production records.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; participate in classroom and on-the-job training.
• Support safety and quality initiatives and follow established procedures.
