Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Chemical Operator to support the manufacturing and processing of resins and formaldehyde. You will ensure compliance with HSE regulations, monitor processes, and collaborate with the control operator to meet production goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in chemical mixing, forklift experience or willingness to certify, and the ability to rotate shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in chemical mixing.
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified.
• Able to drive Tractor/Tanker unit or willingness to learn.
• Analytical and mechanical mindset needed for success.
• Previous chemical/processing experience required.
• Must accept rotating shifts (days/nights/evenings weekly) and every 3rd weekend.
• Must follow strict Health and Safety Guidelines and wear PPE.
• Able to sit, stand, walk and climb in elevated areas.
• Lift ~50 lbs regularly.
• Basic computer skills required; DCS experience a plus; basic math skills.

Express is seeking a Chemical Operator who will be responsible for performing tasks and duties pertaining to the manufacturing and processing of resins and formaldehyde. This role is required to know and perform all assigned production department functions in compliance with HSE - Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and Company’s policies and procedures to contribute positively to an efficient and safely run operation.

Responsibilities:

• Manufactures chemical and performing required monitoring and testing according to established procedures and HSE Regulations.
• Unload and load raw materials and finished products following established procedures.
• Follow all site rules and procedures as they apply to Health, Safety and the Environment.
• Work closely with the process control operator to accomplish the tasks needed to safely and efficiently meet production schedules across all processes.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required or GED.
• Must have 1 year experience in chemical mixing.
• Forklift experience a plus but must be able to become certified.
• Capable of Driving a Tractor/Tanker unit or being able to learn.
• Analytical and mechanical mindset needed to be successful in this role.
• Previous chemical/ processing experience is a must.
• Must be ok with rotating shifts.(Days/Nights/Evenings rotating every week and working every 3rd weekend)
• Must be ok with following strict Health and Safety Guidelines and wear required PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment).
• Ability to sit, stand walk and climb frequently working in elevated areas.
• Will lift an average of 50 lbs frequently.

• DCS Distributed Control Systems experience a plus
