Job summary

The Lewis Chemical Company, a well-established chemical manufacturer in Rome, GA, is seeking experienced Chemical Operators for the night shift. You will operate batch processing systems per batch records, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include 1–2 years in manufacturing or chemical settings, forklift experience, and the ability to read and understand English. Respirator fit testing and pre-employment screening are required for employment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting and/or chemical company experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend Standard English.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and pass a respirator fit test.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

In this role, you will operate batch chemical processing systems according to batch record instructions, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in a clean, organized manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting and/or chemical company experience preferred
• Forklift experience is required

• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend Standard English
