Responsibilities

• Receive and organize chemical totes after QA approval.
• Maintain and clean mixing area and equipment.
• Measure and weigh components for mix recipes.
• Follow standard safety protocols when dealing with chemical compounds.
• Pulling out different material needed for the new mixing assignment with the correct lot numbers.
• Measure and weigh the components needed for the mix and add it to the mixing vessel in the right order of addition supplied in the recipe.
• Test viscosity, solids %, pH, density and surface tension on the finished product and input into the system.
• Pump out the finish mix into storage tanks and record yield in the system.

Job Description

Mixer / Mixer assistant tasks include but not limited to the following:

• Receiving chemical totes after being approved by QA and organizing it in the assigned place
• Maintain the mixing area and equipment
• Clean the mixing vessel and all equipment used in batch making
• Follow standard safety protocols when dealing with chemical compounds
• Pulling out different material needed for the new mixing assignment with the correct lot numbers
• Measure and weigh the components needed for the mix recipe and add it to the mixing vessel in the right order of addition supplied in the recipe
• Test Viscosity, solids %, pH, density and surface tension on the finished product and input into the system
• Pump out the finish mix into storage tanks and record yield in the system

Qualifications
