Job summary

Thatcher Chemical is hiring a Chemical Mix Operator for the 2nd shift to manage production, blending, loading, and unloading of plant chemicals. You will ensure safe operations and maintain a clean plant environment while following procedures and quality standards.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, operating pumps and mixers, and using a forklift when needed. Shift is swing 3pm-11:30pm, Monday through Friday, with full benefits upon hire.

Qualifications

• Desire and demonstrated ability to work safely and promote safety and safe work practices.
• Be quality conscious.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Stability in work history; prefer 2–3 years of prior work experience.
• Willing to submit to background screening and pre-employment checks.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Produce and mix chemicals as needed.
• Understand and operate plant equipment and processes.
• Load and unload tanks, rail cars, tanker trailers, and containers.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs; work in varying temperatures.
• Operate pumps, mixers, and blenders; use forklift as required.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and perform light maintenance.
