Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely receive, move, stage, and organize raw materials and finished products.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment between storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Support production by ensuring operators have needed materials.
• Perform inventory transactions and movements in SAP and other systems.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and audits.

Our client, a chemical manufacturing and distribution organization, is seeking a Chemical Materials Coordinator to join their team. As a Chemical Materials Coordinator, you will be part of the operations support team supporting site logistics and production workflows. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and accuracy, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Chemical Materials Coordinator

Pay Range: $25/hour

Shift: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm

What's the Job?

• Safely receive, move, stage, and organize raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials between storage, production, and shipping areas
• Support production operations by ensuring operators have the materials needed to maintain workflow
• Perform inventory transactions and material movements within SAP and other computerized inventory systems
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation activities

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's in Chemistry or Associate Science with chemistry experience preferred
• 2+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, invento ry control, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing support
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn SAP or other inventory management systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and moving materials
• Valid driver's license
