Job summary

MilliporeSigma in the United States is seeking a production specialist to produce and purify chemical compounds, stage materials, and operate a range of vessels and processing equipment. The role requires adherence to master production records and safety and quality systems.

The position offers a day shift with Monday to Friday 6am–2:30pm, and emphasizes compliance with protocols, chemical handling, and strong communication within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Associate's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other life science discipline.
Experience with and/or chemical handling.
Strong mechanical proficiency and mathematical skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience with reading and understanding written protocols.
Experience with understanding chemical reactions and hazards.
Experience with ISO and quality systems.

Responsibilities

Produce and purify chemical compounds to meet customer requirements.
Stage materials and operate warehouse equipment.
Basic operation of vessels, tanks, dryers, and related equipment.
