Job summary

Arkema Inc in Memphis seeks a Material Handler to safely move tank-wagons and load shipments of hydrogen peroxide from the site. The role includes assisting the warehouse operator with filling totes and drums and preparing for pickup.

You will maintain rolling stock and support the S&OP plan, participate in continuous improvement, and follow HES requirements. A valid driver's license and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year experience in material handling or related role.
• HS diploma required; valid driver's license; DOT training a plus.
• Experience operating trucks, trailers, and forklifts with certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shunt truck to move trailers and containers within the yard.
• Couple and uncouple trailers and isotainers.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections; report issues to supervisor.
• Enter repair notifications; coordinate with vendors for tire changes.
• Communicate with personnel to ensure efficient trailer/container movement.
• Assist warehouse operator with loading product and preparing shipments.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and daily management activities.
