Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Matches loading schedule to bill of lading.
• Weighs railcar/truck prior to product transfer.
• Fills out loading record.
• Ensures that truck/railcar is positioned and secured at proper loading rack.
• Visual inspection of railcar or truck for mechanical soundness before loading/unloading.
• Wears PPE including respirator and safety gear as required.
• Connects loading hoses.
• Loads railcar/truck according to loading Instructions using gauges or weights.
• Checks weight after loading to ensure gross weight complies with regulations.
• Communicates with facility supervisor on issues as they occur.
• Disconnects loading arm/hose and inspects for leaks; completes paperwork.
• Operates trac-mobile to move and position railcars for loading/shipment.
