TheChemical Operator (Loader)role involves loading and unloading trucks and railcars safely and efficiently. Key tasks include verifying loading schedules, inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues, wearing required PPE, and following proper procedures to connect hoses and transfer products. The worker ensures accurate weight measurements and compliance with safety regulations, communicates issues to supervisors, and completes necessary paperwork. Additional duties include operating equipment such as a trac-mobile and forklift, performing safety checks, maintaining cleanliness, completing required training, and submitting daily reports. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

In addition to this schedule, there may be instances where mandatory overtime is required that may disrupt the usual shift rotation. Overtime averages 10-15% (approximately 2 shifts per 4-week rotation).
This position is safety and security sensitive in nature.
This position deals with hazardous materials and/or industrial processes that can pose a risk to employees and the general public. This facilityis required to complywith security standards under Department of HomelandSecurity (DHS) CFATS regulation 6CFRPart27.
