This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which servesthe telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Assist staff chemist with laboratory chemical and physical tests and methodologies required for monitoring the quality of manufacturing processes and products. Also to maintain, enter, record, and file data generated by laboratory activities and analytical work.
Conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests of solids and liquids and analyzes test data to ensure the quality of processes and products.
Recommends changes in laboratory procedures and equipment to increase the efficiency of the laboratory. Prepare reports of analytical work.
Participate in problem-solving activities to determine root causes of quality non-conformances. Operate the ICP-OES, TriStar, SediGraph and other laboratory equipment.
Analyze batches of wastewater to meet regulatory requirements. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Basic chemistry knowledge.
1 year of appropriately related experience in the industry.
1 year of laboratory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate of Science degree, with 1 to 2 years in appropriately related experience in the industry.
