The Chemical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing chemical laboratory and qualification laboratory testing for manufacturing operations.

This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Chemical Laboratory department and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and overtime is routine.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals and waste, as well as manage chemical and supply inventory.
• Perform testing operations related to engineering orders, etc. for Research & Design (R&D), product development and cost savings efforts; prepare and analyze Anodizing test panels. Perform testing on finished products to verify performance and characteristic values for Cleanliness Verification, Efficiency Test, Dirt Capacity, Clean Delta P.
• Monitor and controls fluid cleanliness levels, viscosity, moisture content as required for hydraulic, lube and fuel test stand in Housing, Deltadyne, and Qual Lab. Perform carbon and corrosion resistance testing for incoming and heat-treated mesh, and perform various cleaning of metal mesh. Perform Karl Fischer moisture content analysis
  
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of four (4) years of experience working with chemicals in a laboratory.
• Ability to work with chemicals (solvents, oils, and corrosive chemicals).
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, job sheets and written work instructions and proficiency using MS Office.
  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience working with:

• Associate of Science degree in chemistry or a related technical field.
  
  

Other Requirements:

• This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
