Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Chemical Lab Engineer/Analytical Chemist to join the 5-nanometer fab in Phoenix, AZ. You will set up chemical analysis methods, manage raw material QC, and support vendor qualification while driving analytical technology development to meet future generation needs.

The role requires a BS in chemistry or related field, experience with ICP-MS/GC-MS/IC, and strong teamwork and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience operating chemical analysis instruments and developing methods (ICP-MS, GC-MS, IC, or related).
• Semiconductor industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setup chemical analysis methodologies for Fab environment and raw materials QC.
• Incoming materials, local vendor qualification and audit.
• Assist with local vendor qualification and reporting.
• Act as chemical expert for Fab event prevention, root cause clarification, troubleshooting and CIP.
• Develop advanced analytic technology to meet new generation requirements.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Setup chemical analysis methodology for Fab environment and raw materials quality control.

Minimum Qualifications
