Job summary

A-Gas is seeking a Chemical Engineer to lead capital projects and improve existing process equipment. You will guide design, procurement, and construction, ensuring reliability and safe operation across plant facilities.

The role requires strong project management, hazard analysis experience, and familiarity with process instrumentation and safety standards. Opportunities span equipment upgrades and site-wide improvements.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical, Manufacturing, or process engineering.
3+ years of on-the-job industry experience.
Experience leading engineering projects from concept to delivery.
Experience with contractors and site execution activities.
Knowledge of process safety and hazard analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead and support major capital projects to meet schedule and cost targets.
Participate in HAZOP and implement corrective actions.
Supervise construction and coordinate with contractors.
Evaluate and specify capital equipment (columns, vessels, pumps, heat exchangers).
Ensure equipment design supports reliability and maintenance coordination.
Provide training and coaching to site staff as needed.
