Job summary

NUWAY Alliance is seeking a Chemical Dependency Technician for our Maplewood location in a part-time capacity. The CD Tech will support clients through admission to discharge, supervise client behavior, and assist counselors while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires 18+, First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration certs (Residential only) within 30 days, and the ability to work weekdays and weekends with a focus on first shift, with a $20/hour base rate plus

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• First Aid/CPR cert and Medication Administration cert (Residential only) within 30 days.
• Pass Minnesota DHS background check.
• Able to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
• Able to document services in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients from admission through discharge.
• Supervise and manage client behavior and assist on-duty counselors.
• Respond to medical emergencies in a professional and confidential manner.
