Job summary

Foundations Minnesota Pride Program in uptown Minneapolis, MN, seeks an experienced Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor to join its multidisciplinary team for a 12:00 PM–8:30 PM evening shift. The role involves assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews, and delivering individual and group counseling in a recovery-focused program.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. Qualified candidates must hold an active LADC license in MN, have 1–2 years of chemical dependency experience,

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted LADC license (MN BBHT).
  • 1–2 years of chemical dependency experience.
  • 12 contact hours of co-occurring disorders training.
  • Ability to pass MN DHS Background Study and be substance-free for at least two years.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews, and continuing care planning.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with a recovery-focused approach.
  • Support Foundations Minnesota Pride Program’s LGBTQ+ outpatient track and multidisciplinary treatment team.

Foundations Minnesota is a member of Foundations Recovery Network, a nationwide network of addiction care with more than 20 years of providing evidence-based, patient-centered treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.

The Pride Program is now part ofFoundations Minnesota, a new entity designed to strengthen mental and behavioral health services, expand programming, and ensure long-term sustainability. This transition allows us to better meet the needs of our communities while also preserving the Pride Program’s LGBTQ+ specialty outpatient track.

Foundations Minnesota's Pride Program located in uptown Minneapolis, MN is seeking a treatment focused and client-centeredLicensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor to join our multidisciplinary treatment team to open another morning track. This position will provide on-going assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews, continuing care planning, and individual/group counseling sessions involving recovery education. This is a hourly, full-time, benefits-eligible position at our Pride Program, with an evening schedule Monday through Friday from 12:00PM-8:30PM.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have an active, unrestricted license (LADC) awarded by the MN BBHT; have 1-2 years’ experience in the chemical dependency field and 12 contact hours of co-occurring disorders training; and have insight regarding the unique challenges faced by our clients. They must be able to pass/clear the MN DHS Background Study and must be free of problematic substance use for at least the two years immediately preceding their hiring.
