Foundations Minnesota Pride Program in uptown Minneapolis, MN seeks a treatment-focused Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team. Open the Pride morning track, performing assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews and individual/group counseling as part of a full-time, hourly position.

Foundations Minnesota is a member of Foundations Recovery Network, a nationwide network of addiction care with more than 20 years of providing evidence-based, patient-centered treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.

The Pride Program is now part ofFoundations Minnesota, a new entity designed to strengthen mental and behavioral health services, expand programming, and ensure long-term sustainability. This transition allows us to better meet the needs of our communities while also preserving the Pride Program’s LGBTQ+ specialty outpatient track.

Foundations Minnesota's Pride Program located in uptown Minneapolis, MN is seeking a treatment focused and client-centeredLicensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor to join our multidisciplinary treatment team to open another morning track. This position will provide on-going assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews, continuing care planning, and individual/group counseling sessions involving recovery education. This is a hourly, full-time, benefits-eligible position at our Pride Program, with a morning schedule Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have an active, unrestricted license (LADC) awarded by the MN BBHT; have 1-2 years’ experience in the chemical dependency field and 12 contact hours of co-occurring disorders training; and have insight regarding the unique challenges faced by our clients. They must be able to pass/clear the MN DHS Background Study and must be free of problematic substance use for at least the two years immediately preceding their hiring.
