Abraxas Youth and Family Services – Woodridge Interventions in Woodridge, IL is seeking a Counselor II to provide chemical dependency counseling, assess patients and families, design and revise treatment plans, and conduct group and individual counseling and crisis intervention services as part of a treatment team.

The role requires licensure (LSW, LPC or CADC) and at least two years of substance abuse counseling experience, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Current licensure - LSW, LPC or CADC.
• Two (2) years’ experience working with Substance abuse. Preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide chemical dependency counseling to patients and families.
• Deliver group and individual counseling and crisis intervention.
• Develop and revise treatment plans; conduct assessments.
• Coordinate services and support with the treatment team.
