Stepan is seeking a Pasadena Operator in Pasadena, TX. The role involves chemical bulk operations, safe off-loading of EO/PO, and loading finished products, with emphasis on safety and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities include maintaining SAP records, equipment prep, and contributing to site emergency response. A high school diploma is required, with 12-hour rotating shifts on a Dupont schedule.

Qualificações

• Must be self-motivated and able to complete assigned duties with minimal supervision.
• Well organized with a focus on managing multiple tasks safely and responsibly.
• Must understand chemical process operations and have the ability to recognize and respond to operational difficulties and potential safety concerns.
• Be familiar with Distributed Control System (DCS) operation, basic instrumentation, and computer literate.
• Experience handling ethylene and propylene oxide is considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Support safety, environmental and Responsible Care policies including stop work authority.
• Maintain accurate records in SAP.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance activities including cleaning and LOTOTO.
• Safely off-loads EO/PO railcars to storage tanks.
• Wear required PPE for tasks.
• Safely off-load bulk materials to storage tanks by railcar and tank truck.
• Safely load finished products from storage tanks to railcars and tank trucks.
• Filter finished products through candle and polishing filters.
• Be an active member of the site emergency response team and complete training as required.
• Perform all duties with emphasis on safety and environmental stewardship.
• Willing to work overtime as required.
