Job summary

AdeptHR is seeking a dedicated Chemical Blender in Corona, CA. This full-time, non-exempt role involves weighing ingredients, mixing batches, recording material usage, and transferring finished compounds while adhering to GMP and safety regulations.

You will set up blenders, verify ingredients, document batch data, and communicate with material handling teams. Forklift certification is required, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs is necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to read and understand written and oral English instructions.
• Must have basic math skills for weights and volumes.
• Able to lift powder bags up to 100 lbs.
• Good troubleshooting skills are required.
• Forklift experience and certification are required.
• Experience in mixing/blending chemicals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and start all mixing tanks and blenders.
• Follow all safety rules, SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Obtain and understand documentation for batches.
• Ensure correct ingredients and record lot numbers.
• Handle chemicals and ingredients in predetermined quantities.
• Operate equipment safely (mixers, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts).
• Monitor raw materials and weights for each batch.
• Return unused materials to inventory with correct quantities.
• Follow batch approval and adjustments per lab instructions.
• Clean equipment as needed.
• Escalate issues to lead/supervisor.
• Coordinate with material handlers and managers for batches.
• Complete batch documentation promptly.
• Perform other related duties as required.
