Jacam Chemical Company 2013, LLC is seeking a facility operator to perform batch chemical operations and QA/QC activities. The role involves handling chemicals, operating processing equipment, and following HazMat and safety policies.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with forklift certification preferred and welding experience welcome. Work is conducted in chemical environments with temperature extremes, and employees must comply with corporate guidelines and drug testing
Safely perform liquid or solid batch type chemical operations associated with devulcanizers, batch stills, molds, fermenting tanks, steam-jacketed kettles and or reactor vessels. Handle chemicals in accordance with written or verbal instruction. Perform routine and operator level preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment or surroundings as required. Conduct and log QA/QC of product. Work well within a team atmosphere.
Chemical Manufacturing environment inside and outside of metal buildings. Employee will work in temperature extremes and in a chemical odors environment. Depending on exact position, employee may need to: Operate a forklift, tip and move 55 gallon drums weighing up to 600 pounds with a drum dolly, lift and carry 100 pounds in various packaging lift and handle empty 55 gallon drums.
