Job summary

Meridian Adhesives Group is seeking a hands-on Batch/Production Operator for 1st Shift in Fort Wayne, IN. You will stage ingredients, operate high-speed dispersers, and monitor processes under QC guidance, following batch tickets and safety standards.

You must read and follow English instructions, lift 50–60 lbs, and work with chemical manufacturing environments. The role emphasizes accurate tracking and strict PPE compliance in a fast-paced plant.

Qualifications

• Basic math proficiency and ability to read digital scales.
• Experience operating high-speed dispersers and material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.
• Strength to lift 50-60 lbs.
• Chemical manufacturing background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage ingredients and manually add them to mixing vessels per batch ticket.
• Operate and monitor high-speed dispersers and other processing/handling equipment.
• Track parameters and adjust under Quality Control guidance until approved.
• Follow the daily manufacturing schedule; flag issues and improvements to the Supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping to standard; immediately report spills or hazards to your supervisor or safety.
• Uphold all PPE standards throughout the shift.

Schedule, pay, and bonus

• Hours: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 5:00 am-2:30 pm
• Starting rate: $21.00/hour. Actual hourly compensation may vary within the expected range based on relevant experience/skills, time in role, business unit, and geography.
• Incentive: 2025 productivity plan-eligible employees can earn up to $1,520 per year, paid quarterly.
